Underneath, the Stinger rides on the 114.4-inch wheelbase, which stretches just a little longer than potential rivals like the Mercedes-Benz C-Class, the Lexus IS, and the BMW 3-Series. Overall, it’s more than 190 inches from check out toe–a figure that again dwarfs its rivals. It’s not quite the ultra-compact rear-wheel drive sedan that lots of expected from Kia, but its price point will likely undercut its Western, Asian, and American competitors.
Inside, nappa leather, a solid leather-wrapped steering wheel, and large gauges ringed in material speak to the Stinger’s luxury quest. Between those gauges rests a color screen that may be configured to show performance data like cornering g-forces and lap times.
In terms of security, the Stinger will be offered with computerized crisis braking, adaptive sail control, lane keep assist, and a good exhaustion sensor that appears to be notifications if it picks up a tired driver. A height-adjustable heads-up screen system will also be on your options list.

Don’t mistake it with the K900. The Stinger is a much sleeker and sportier proposition than its staid big sister, and it offers a low, coupelike roofline. Power will come from two engines, with the range-topping 365-hp turbo 3.3-liter V-6 making that version the most effective roadgoing Kia yet; a 255-hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder will provide as the entry-level engine. The Stinger gets an eight-speed computerized transmission, with clients able to select from rear- and all-wheel drive. Kia says it is targeting a 5.1-second zero-to-62-mph time and a 167-mph top speed for the 3.3-liter. There also will be a diesel version for European countries, but there are no strategies to take it to the Claims.

Kia’s yet to confirm how much the Stinger will definitely cost when it continues on sale in Sept 2018 but we expect entry-level 2.0-litre models to set you back from 30,000 Euro. Faster 3.3-litre variations with four-wheel drive could cost in the region of 43,000 Euro.
