The new car sedan was spied in Long Beach, California, while the Japanese automaker was doing formal video recording and photo shoots, likely for promotional materials. As another model in-line to receive Acura’s new design dialect that first debuted on the 2017 MDX, you can see the 2018 Acura TLX will have slimmer jeweled headlights and the diamond pentagon grille, while the back gets exhaust cutouts like the MDX just. More interestingly, one of the TLXes being shot on camera has a far more aggressive front end, prominent round exhaust tips, and a subtle lip spoiler, suggesting that a performance-oriented model will join the lineup.
2018 Acura TLX Redesign
We saw this grille design on the Acura Perfection Principle first, and on the other hand on the refreshed 2017 Acura MDX that went on deal before this full year. On the camouflaged prototype, which we believe is the refreshed 2018 Acura TLX, this grille contributes to a far more athletic front end that we’ve been waiting to see over a production Acura sedan. The headlights maintain their narrow, angular form as before, but this mule doesn’t have any silver windows lean like we typically see on the TLX. The relative back end keeps its large lip at the top of the trunk, but it looks like Acura might have changed the shape of the rear a bit.
2018 Acura TLX Engine
The 2018 Acura TLX will surely provide 2 engines: 2.4-liter V6 as well as 3.5-liter V6. Off them is 2 first.4-liter engine works as a simple system as well as generates 206 hp together with 182 lb-ft of torque with an 8-speed dual-clutch computerized transmission. The other-one is a 3.5-liter engine with 290 hp and 267 lb-ft of torque also. A soft 9-swiftness vehicle transmission device will be provided. If we discuss the fuel economy new 2018 TLX will give an average mileage of 26 mpg incorporated, with 22 mpg on city roads and 30 mpg on the highway also.
2018 Acura TLX Release Date and price
The undisguised TLX sedans pictured here appear to be part of some sort of photo blast, so we probably won’t have to wait very long for the car’s official debut. Search for it at the Chicago auto show in a couple weeks, before it continues on sales sometime later this year. Pricing should say within the same range as the existing car, which starts at $32,950 for the bottom four-cylinder model and tops out at $45,850 for the loaded V-6 SH-AWD version completely. The anticipated TLX hybrid will probably slot among the four-cylinder and V-6 models, and the A-Spec package should put in a few thousand dollars to the sticker
